After 20 years or so: the smoothest linux= wsl2 ubuntu 26.04. .ps1 is just as good now as .sh. You can install ANY programming language in windows 11 OR..just put it all in a docker container is docker desktop. Windows 11 is like Toyota or Honda..WHY does everyone hate things that work? What is it you want to do with Ubuntu/Fedora that you CANNOT do with windows 11 in 2026? Understand: whether its windows 11 or Linux: BOTH are screw drivers (tools)..so whats the issue?? I have 2 laptops. One windows 11 one Linux.I use the windows one wayyy more..BOTH are JUST tools

Not a hot take but i think its still one, the only reason why Windows is so much bigger then Linux is because most of the Laptops have it pre-installed. If more companies would switch to Linux the hype of windows would vanish. For all those who will cry in my comments about anti-cheat this and that, grow up. If you use a laptop you dont play games you use it to work and if you want to use Linux to play games you can do it as easy as on windows. The reason why publisher dont allow their games on Linux is because you defend their behavior.
