When I did this it was called, White gloves and party manners. Late 60s early 70s lol I did retain the info but only apply it when needed.

Wait until they start learning about the cutlery order, napkin placement after you leave the seat, how to earn peas properly 😂 the best part is once you learn all of this, you’ll never forget! If you are invited to dinner and the host has peas served, it’s just to see if you are indeed proper when it comes to “class/social standing” I swear it has to be!!!

This is like a class they taught at Neiman Marcus when I was a kid. My parents decided I didn’t need to go…My Grandma had already taught me most of this. But, I think she might be a bit intimidating but this is what makes kids grow up to be confident in rooms they’ve never even dreamed of yet.
