DJD :
That “Holy Ghost Fire” line wasn’t me inventing a strange name for God. The Bible already describes God as a consuming fire, and the Holy Spirit is also represented with fire in Scripture. Since we Christians believe the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one God, using “Holy Ghost Fire” is simply a descriptive way of referring to God’s powerful and purifying presence. A lot of names we call God are descriptions anyway. Names like Provider, Deliverer, Rock, Lion, Chukwu, and many others describe His nature, power, or what He means to people. So in that context, if God is both Holy Spirit and a consuming fire, then that consuming fire can rightly be described as “Holy Ghost Fire.”
So you see, it’s being used spiritually and symbolically, not randomly.
