I usually leave the kids in the cart while I load the groceries in the car, walk the cart back with them still in and then get them out and walk back to the car holding hands. Our grocery store has those big fun car carts, but they don’t fit in the regular cart corral properly, so I have to do this every time.

Groceries in, take cart back, walk back to the car with the kids. I’m assuming they walk to go get the cart so I feel like that’s the same thing

Unload groceries. Walk back with buggy and kids then let the kids walk and hold your hand back to the car

Wait to put them in the car until after the cart is back. Just like you got them to the cart when you got there.

I've always brought kids to the cart return with me and walk back with them. but Im definitely not judging if I see a flustered mom leave it. parking next to the cart return is always the goal no matter wear I go

Maybe put the cart back with the kids and then walk back to the car all together? If that’s not possible- leave the cart.

It’s not a dilemma. UNO reverse. You take the cart back the same way you got it. You got the the kids out of the car to go get the cart. Why is this difficult???
