I went to HS in Citrus Heights-Roseville and rode my bike everywhere. It was bad back in 2012 I couldn’t imagine this now. Also this was how my grandpa almost died in the Sacramento back around the same time as a cyclist, hit by a driver not paying attention.

California laws should have more reflectors. People just go in the road on blind spots. I’ve had people walk literally in the road not even looking. People just expect you to stop.

We are completely democrat run state in a completely democrat run city. enforcing, the law goes against almost everything they stand on. plus they need more money to go to nonprofits , so they can get their reelection money. the problem in california is the money doesn't get where it's supposed to go

In midtown they put parking next to the bike lane. So when a pedestrian steps into the road that parked car is blocking them. Stupidest thing they did, very unsafe for everyone.

My mother and a friend of hers were struck by a drunk driver who was triple over the limit, 256 millimeters of alcohol in 100 milimeters of blood, the legal limit is 80 millimeters. My mom was only 36 she was an ex addict (from what i know) and had lost custody of me when i was only 4 days old, my whole life i waited for a chance to rebuild my almost nonexistent relationship with her just to be robbed of it at such a young age. The monster who did it only faced 2 or so years and STILL drives he murdered 2 people, robbed 2 families, completely destroyed the lives of everyone affected. All because he wasnt considerate before getting behind the wheel. My mom left behind a 15, 12, and a 1 year old. Her lawsuit has been ongoing since 2022.
