I’ve had navy federal for 8 years and never knew this . I did put $300 into my savings and applied for the secured credit card and after 6 months they graduated me to $2500 unsecured line of credit so it’s definitely relationship based

Yup I’ve done 2 pledge loans first was 2 yrs 2000 paid it off did another 3 yrs now I have 80k line of credit with them and 792 credit score definitely works!

Facts! I did this and paid off my loan and then got a credit card with them with $3500 limit and 6 months later got approved for $30k auto loan.

hiii nfcu employee. we DO care abt credit. buttt ANYTHING secured (ex. pledge loan, secured credit card) very hard to get denied 🫶🏾

Saved $1000 and just applied for the secured credit card, once I get an additional $1000 saved I'm doing the pledge loan. Can't believe I'm actually having fun building my credit back up I love my navy federal account.
