Elderberry gummies are so easy, fun, and good for your family. They can help you recover faster and boost your immune system! (Check out our previous post to get the Elderberry Syrup Recipe, but you can also make these gummies with store-bought elderberry syrup.) Ingredients: 1/2 cup / 120 ml / 4 fl oz elderberry syrup 1/2 cup / 120 ml / 4 fl oz apple juice 1/3 cup / 80 ml / 2.7 oz cold water 1/4 cup / 35 g / 1.2 oz gelatin 1 – 2 tbsp sweetener (optional) Directions: Start by placing the silicone mould onto a tray or baking sheet to make it easier to handle and prevent any spills. Lightly coat each cavity of the mould with cooking spray or coconut oil to prevent the gummies from sticking. In a medium mixing bowl, add cold water and sprinkle gelatin over it. Stir the mixture until the gelatin dissolves, and let it rest for 5 minutes. In a separate medium-sized saucepan, combine the elderberry syrup and apple juice. Heat the mixture over medium-high heat and stir it regularly until it comes to a boil. Add the gelatin and whisk it thoroughly until the gelatin dissolves completely. Make sure not to boil or reheat the mixture after adding the gelatin. Use a dropper to fill the cavities of the gummy bear mould with the gelatin mixture. Place the mould in the refrigerator and let it set for about 3 hours. Once the gummies are set, remove them from the mould and store them in an airtight container. Don’t forget to save this recipe to use later! 💕 #momhacks #kidssick #elderberrysyrup #makinggummies #gummybears #elderberrygummies
