How do you do with hanging out in silence together? Both doing something in silence like watching a show or reading together or something where you don’t need to hear? Does that help you recharge still? (Just curious totally understand needing time and space alone too)

hi Katie🦻unless your deaf yourself you don't know what we go through on a daily basis,a lot of hearing people still think once we put our hearing aids in we can hear clearly again,just like once you get glasses you can see clearly,but unless your hearing loss is very mild hearing aids won't give you decent hearing! you will get those that say if you want to hear you should wear your hearing devices all the time! whilst I appreciate being able to hear something with hearing aids when I am on my own I do choose silence or close to it! Imagine how sweaty and sore your ears get with molds in most of the day! if you have cochlear implants you don't have things in your ears! so please don't judge us for wanting some quiet time during the day! ❤️🥰❤️🦻🦻🌹🌹
