 This is the chicken bacon ranch chicken salad I keep coming back to. NO mayo(so you save about 1000calories). Super creamy ranch-y mouthfeel WITHOUT the calorie or fat load. Turkey bacon adds the smoky savory crunch. It's high protein, meal-prep friendly, and tastes way too good. Follow for more feel good look good recipes 
 🛒 INGREDIENTS: * 2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced * 4-6 slices turkey bacon, cooked & crumbled * 1 cup low fat cottage cheese (blended smooth) & greek yogurt (I recommend half of each) * 1.5 cup celery, diced * 1/2 cup onion, diced * 2 garlic cloves, minced * 2 tsp ranch seasoning- premade and make yourself * Black pepper to taste 👩‍🍳 HOW TO MAKE IT: 1. Cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Let it cool, then crumble. 2. Blend the cottage cheese until completely smooth — this is your creamy ranch base 🥛 3. In a big bowl, mix the blended cottage cheese and/or greek yogurt with garlic, ranch seasoning, and black pepper, salt, dijon mustard or just mix everything together like I did lol 4. Cover and refrigerate at least 30 min before serving — flavors get WAY better as it chills. 5. As a dietitian I recommend on a salad or with whole wheat bread/wraps for added fiber 6. Optional if you want to add fiber to this just add a tbsp of ground flax seed for healthy fats & fiber

Do you count macros ? Or just eat mindfully and healthy options? I was strict macros for 1.5 years and then I was in a car accident and I’ve been dealing w a concussion and headaches for 7 months. I was In survival mode and working out has been taken from me for 7 months. I’ve gained all the weight I worked hard to lose . Counting macros makes me so stressed right now with how I feel , but I know I was successful with it before . I’m trying to get my nutrition back into check . After accident I lost all appetite and I ended up just eating when I was feeling able to and eating what was sounding good because I wasn’t eating . Accident has wrecked me ! So this sounds so good for meal prep for school
