I think all of this is very sound advice, especially about asking for snacks. Too many parents complain about kids eating them out of house and home, but don’t monitor how many and what kinds of snacks their kids are eating. Money is tight.

We did the same with the age and sleep training and our kids are the same age. They now love their beds and do not even attempt to sleep in our bed and they sleep through the night too.

Love to see that it’s not just us! A lot of our friends do not parent this way and sometimes think we are doing to much as parents. We do all these same things with our kids except the toys. We have a one level home so we don’t really have a ton of space, but my kids are expected to clean up after themselves in their rooms before bedtime routine every night! Mine are 4 and 6 years old and these expectations have seemed to work out great for us so far! Great job mama!!!

Would love to hear more on how you sleep train!! We sort of sleep trained both of my girls but they’re 2 and 4 and still don’t sleep thru the night. Would love to start at 6 months with my next baby!
