Hey Dad… is quantum computing going to make us rich? 👀 That was Enzo’s question, and I love it because it gives me a chance to teach him how technology, money, and investing connect. I explained it like this: Imagine you’re stuck in a maze. A regular computer may try one path at a time until it finds the way out. Quantum computing is different. It can help process multiple possibilities much faster, which could help solve problems that are too big or too complicated for today’s computers. That matters because industries like medicine, finance, cybersecurity, energy, logistics, and defense may all use quantum computing one day to solve problems faster. But here’s the lesson: Just because a technology is powerful doesn’t mean every stock connected to it will win. Some companies may boom. Some may fail. Some may never make real money. That’s why we’re not just chasing hype. I’ve actually been doing covered calls on D-Wave since last year, so we’re already investing in the quantum computing space. Now we’re also looking at quantum ETFs as another way to get long-term exposure without betting everything on one company.
