I mean were they just photos in his photos app from 5-6yrs ago? Who even goes back through those? I have over 50,000 photos since 2015ish. I’m not going back through and deleting or looking for things. If he was single and available when the photo exchange happened, you can’t fault him for that. We all have previous partners and experiences with other people. Yes it’s hurtful to bring those up and talk about them and that’s why most often we don’t because it’s unnecessary and hurtful. But in this case you’re addressing if there is still something romantic going on. It sounds like the friend had and still has a crush on him. But if she respects your relationship then that line will never get crossed. We can’t hide who we are attracted to and it’d be shadier and sketchy if your friends did lie. Just don’t stay friends with people you don’t trust. My take on this though, is that it’s an old photo and not his fault. Your current feelings are valid though and you need to question whether you trust your boyfriend and that friend individually.
