Im raising my kid like the 90s. Outside play till dinner or bed 👏 lots of kitchen utensils out there and a water table. Shes entertained by herself for hours sometimes. And I get to enjoy my meal outside or my coffee or even get some yard work done. It’s really nice actually.

I remember when we said we were bored my mom would be like cool you can help me clean up the house. We found our own entertainment so fast 🤣 played outside..played in the room. We found stuff to do real quick. 🥰

I let my kiddo set the pace….. he’s extremely high energy (ADHD more of the hyperactive/aggressive type) and he loves structure and scheduling. Loves sports, obviously. Loved the first 3 years of sports every season. Ate it up. This year he asked for a break. Full stop. He grew so fast, mentally and emotionally but ready for a more structured routine again
