in the directors cut, he wanted to add how Jesus was an ambassador from the planet humanity was seeded from.. coming to tell humanity to live in peace & love, in the movie this would of explained how Earth was meant to be a seeded paradise.. fast forward to today & how humanity treated/worshiped Jesus would of given more context for the engineers wanting to reset Earth… much more interesting and the studio said no lmao

I wanted to like this movie so bad but good Lord it is awful. Every single character makes such baffling choices, the whole movie doesn't feel cohesive at all and really sticks out like a sore thumb in the alien canon

Then that would be on the creator. If a "perfect" being can't create something perfect or "in its image" then they themselves aren't perfect. The engineers are foolish in their anger/disappointment toward their creations.
