You kinda missed on this one. Fancy onigiri sets for $15 are totally a thing in Japan. Gorichan is a viral onigiri spot in Osaka that’s doing literally this. Also salted and grilled onigiri are totally a thing wat 😭

i have to be honest, this is a non issue. i live in japan and there are different types of onigiris that come out every so often. salted rice onigiri with no fillings is very normal. i’ve seen crab onigiri etc 💪u have good work don’t let this ruin it
