THE KINGDOM OF GOD&HEAVEN 1 Corinthians 8:6 6 But to us there is but ONE GOD, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and ONE LORD JESUS CHRIST, by whom are all things, and we by him. In Luke 11:20 Jesus said THE KINGDOM IS COME UPON YOU.. In Luke 17:21, He said The kingdom of God is in your midst/ within you/among you (in different translations) .We cannot pick and interpret a verse in the bible to suite/support our myth. To understand this verse, you must take not it out of context. Reading from verse 20, Jesus was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He would not have responded that the kingdom of God is in the Pharisees when In Matthew 23:27 he said they are like whitewashed tombs. What Jesus was saying is that he is among/in their midst but still they don’t see that He represents the kingdom of God by virtue of his presence. Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father”. Jesus answered: “anyone who has seen me has seen the Father” . . Jesus is the Kingdom of God, The kingdom of God is in anyone who believes the message of salvation, repents, follow the teachings and commandments of the Lord Jesu Christ. Anyone who has the Kingdom of GOD( JESUS) in him is awaiting the promised new heaven: John 14:14 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. Philippians 3:20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,
