after 3-4 years of creating trial and error has been how ive solved nearly every issue. It honestly feels really gratifying to me when I actually figure out the specific things to do to fix the issues. I try to offer some help in my discord for users who ask but even after facing hundreds of different issues sometimes unity/blender just be dum LMAO

that's one thing I'm happy for i have a lot of friends who have asked me to do things for commissions and it really helps me build my skill set as I have to fix a lot of things it really helps build your skill set helping others when you're not working on your own models

this is so real, i’ve only been creating for a year but i can say that ive run into SO many specific issues that creators who have been doing this for years, have no idea or simply don’t wanna help. and YES to the vrcfury thing, i MUST know how to manually do it so i can learn and KNOW how to fix it if something breaks!! don’t worry, you’re not alone! the official vrc, asked for help ONCE and was simply told to f*ck off… haven’t went back LOL

I know how you feel. I don’t really do VRChat furry stuff at all. My avatars break constantly, so I usually end up fixing them.

I don't ask for help often (I don't really do things that give me issues I don't understand for the most part) but I had to recently for a shader problem so I asked and only one person responded and just told me "no it's not a mesh issue, it's not worth it just give up"

in my perspective ai is evil and good. depends how people use it. personally I use it for the rare edge cases that I just figure out my self or find online. if that makes me a monster then I will tell you the power your using to run your pc is killing the earth and the car you drive to work is causing global warming. lolololol

yes its so annoying not knowing and asking for help and not getting it. and when i asked my avatar creator friends they just throw a random YouTube video at me and tell me to figure it out 😭 (most of the time the video isn't what I need)

I'm still new to AVI creation and alot of errors that I researched I couldn't figure out I reached out to other creator friends for help that may be basic or ez for them and got a flat out "I don't Wana help ask someone else" and I did and they said watch videos or sent me a link to documents and I'm like...I do better on 1 on 1 in a guided screenshare or I crash mentally @.@

"how hard it is to find answers to very specific problems" as someone who is very much, in that boat with you, FUCKING PREACH MY DEAR! that (aside for having people to talk shop with) is why I love being friends with fellow makers, either I have an issue and have a few people to ask. or they have issues and due to my constant experimentation, I may have a solution for them
