Hey everyone, I’m just now reading through your messages. With tears in my eyes, I genuinely can’t thank you enough. Your support and advice has given me so much hope and made me realise how important it is for me to build a proper support network. I honestly feel so held by so many beautiful people right now. I ended up in hospital yesterday, and I’ve got a psych appointment today. I’m also looking at booking a wellness retreat for the next few days (never tried one before). I really do want to make another video when I’m a bit more grounded — my people pleasing is definitely going into overdrive right now 😅 — but for now I just wanted to update you all. I’ve also had so many people reach out locally and interstate, and I’ll definitely look to connect when I’m in a better place. I’ve never experienced this kind of support before… I truly feel so loved 🤍

Hey bud, all these people offering to hang out and be friends, aren't doing it as an act of charity. Most people are offering because they've been there themselves or had a close friend that was there at some point. They don't want to talk to you about your problems, they just want to show you that there is more to life than your problems. Life can feel pointless, loneliness is a soul crushing thing. Just take some of these connections that people are offering up and see where it goes. I've never met you, but send you all the love from the US from a guy that's been in your shoes.

Its so hard finding new friendships as an adult. All my newer friends ive met through work, even then, everyone else is in a relationship. I dont think anyone even thinks about how much of my life i go through alone. Sending you so much love and grace💕

making friends as an adult is HARD! it feels awkward to try and the avenues are smaller. focus on finding things that you enjoy that could be a group activity - footy, painting classes, etc.
