@accidentallywellness: Flashback to one year ago: I moved to North Carolina with the hopes of figuring out my life after living in New York for 22 years (sorry law school, you are not for me after all!!). Flashback to one month ago: the eczema on my arms was at an all-time worst, I was in constant, unimaginable pain, and I was itchy beyond belief. I decide to go to the allergist. She took one look at my arms and said “you are one VERY allergic girl.” As it turned out, I was allergic to the entire state of North Carolina (just kidding…sort of!!). After being tested for 87 different things (yes 87), we came to the conclusion that it’s because of all these dang trees and plants. Her plan was to start me on Dupixent to get the eczema under control, and then bi-weekly allergy shots. I did NOT want to do that. I was tired of bandaiding my eczema with topical steroid cream, and I was certainly NOT going to start a prescription drug (with very mixed results). Lucky for me, I accidentally got a job at a luxury med spa and learned how to literally heal my skin from the inside out. And now, I want to share everything I’m learning with all of you!
