Walmart charged me $40.99 for a bell pepper. I thought my total was high so I took my receipt to customer service and they gave me a refund and said it was a glitch in the system like it wasn’t a big deal. How many people bought bell peppers that day and didn’t check their receipt?

so I went, same, keeping a total in my head. it was about 35$ over.... so I finished checking out, stepped to the side, I had 14 items. but I was counting 15 items. the cashier was sooooo nervous. I went to customer service, she looked at it and counted items. didnt say a word. just handed me cash. I always triple check now.

Like the penny thing… in a large city, im not from, almost every place u shop/eat at round your total up to stop using pennies.. think about it… total $ 4.26 you pay 4.30, they made an additional 4 cents this adds up.. its getting ridiculous how companies are getting 😫

There's a lady that had problems with the digital price tags. Shows were supposed to be clearance $3.99 but at register $18.99. Mgmt got involved and they found that the price changed according to where she was at in the store.

This stuff happens at almost every grocery store I go to with constantly mispriced items. I always stop before I leave a store to check my receipt. 90% of the time I need to stop at customer service to get my money back!!! 🥺
