One time I had a flight from Florida back to NYC and my 3 year old said “mommy today we fall off a plane” cancelled with the quickness and we got us two rooms on a train, it was by far the best experience I’ve ever lived!

I absolutely LOVE traveling by Amtrak, in a roomette!! Looking out the window, relaxing in solitude, and having peace is priceless. I prefer this over every other way to travel.

I traveled from California to NC in a room. It took a 3 1/2 days and it cost $2300. All meals were included and a roomette with a bed.

I hate that America doesn’t have more of a rail system. I got a sleeper car in an Amtrak once when I was a teenager. It was the coolest thing ever!

I had a business trip in Seattle for 3 days. I decided to take 3 vacation days before and after the trip and opted to pay for my own Amtrak from NYC to Seattle and back. It was by far my favorite travel days I’ve ever had

My husband and I took one from Kingston, Ontario to Turo , Nova Scotia. The bed folded to a couch in the day. It had a bathroom and shower, included meals and access to a bar car and and observation car on top of the train. It was amazing. A wonderful memory and experience. It was expensive but the money saved on gas, restaurants, a room for a couple of nights and relaxing instead of stressing about the drive was worth very cent.
