My son asks me to help him with reality. He sometimes has difficulty with understanding what is real and what is not. So I guide him with patience love and kindness, along with taking him to therapy

My son took his life during this and the worse part is the ER let him go home to die after he had overdosed to take his life. He left letters saying he would to save the world and go to the sun.

Yup 👍 the only way I could help my son was to agree with him but I would ask questions that would make him stop for a second and think logically. That second helped stop the frenzy. Then we could start talking our way out of the tunnel.
