there's rules and a process for a reason. Especially with the younger kids. They do dumb stuff. They lie, they'll get off at their friends stop or get let off near the store. Sounds like there was a sub who didn't know the kids or their stops and was trying to follow protocols to keep the kids safe. The parents should've been patient and understanding.
