Just playing Depeche Mode sounds disjointed and awkward for the scene. I agree with the sentiment but only if it was a remix of a Depeche Mode track with already established epic Tron music.

this movie is too over hated. the complaints are people not understanding the story and how it continues the story of legacy pretty well and taking it where they planned to originally, just minus sam and kora. plus yes Jared letto isn't my favorite actor but saying he acted emotionless like an Ai when an Ai is litterally what the character is, figuring out these things called emotions. yes its not the perfect movie but most the complaints are from people that just straight up did not pay attention and were just there for the visuals and music
