This has taken me back to old memories with my dad when we were younger, very fond memories with my late husband, reminiscing smells of our Kenyan nyama choma and just that great pride in being African with an immense appreciation of Lingala!!! Franco’s sound is one of the greats and to date, it carries more than just music- it’s a feeling, a memory you can almost hold with your hand and a warmth in the heart that only someone who appreciates good rhumba can understand!!!
