After removing the push nut and motor assembly, I clean everything thoroughly—dust buildup is a big contributor to noise. Then comes the key fix: repositioning the fan blades lower on the motor shaft to eliminate rubbing. If the original push nut fails, I show a quick workaround using a replacement and how to install it securely. Once reassembled, the fan runs quietly again.
