Anyone who doesnt understand just has never been in bad mental health and a very toxic situation witha romantic partner. I could empathise with her completely. she was in a vulnerable and toxic situation with clearly a trauma bond with her partner but she still did what was right ultimately and was let down by the police and their support system.

The real victim is Tony Parsons and his family not Caroline. I can't deny what she initially did was brave but everything after inviting them to stay in her flat was stupid. My takeaway is learning that Tony Patsons's wife slept on the couch instead of her bed the while 3 years he was missing, in case he came home. That's truly heartbreaking.

I’m not getting why people don’t understand why she needed witnesses protection or witnesses (some kind of, any) support. It really doesn’t matter how long she been with him. It more the point of advice on how she could get away from him. Because clearly she didn’t know how to do that. Some kind of support was needed to protect their case for the victims family.
