@chclaireh: Get comfortable with the uncomfortable I’m someone who loves trying new things but that also comes with so much frustration of being bad at the new thing. Over the past couple years I’ve picked up a couple new hobbies - from snowboarding and running to baking and gymming. And to be completely honest. I’m pretty average at all of them. But I guess that’s the thing about growth. You can’t expect next day results and immediate change. Growth is often uncomfortable; most times it feels like confusion, discomfort, and trying again and again. You might even feel like you’re doing everything wrong. At the end of the day I think growth can feel painful but it’s also a sign that you’re doing something new. You’re not necessarily doing things wrong, you just haven’t got the hang of it yet. And worse case…who said you need to be amazing at your hobbies? As long as you’re having fun and enjoying yourself, that’s all it matters. #growthmindsets #motivation #LifeAdvice #lifelessons #mindset
