This was really helpful. I have fair olive skin and I’m pretty neutral, the colors that look best on me are the deeper version of summer colors. But a lot of dark winter colors work, and lot of autumn colors work as well. No spring though, they make me look ill.

You are the first one I believe. Despite any other “experts” claiming olive tone is never taken into consideration when applying color theory, I feel like you are one of the few that knows better! As an olive, I tend to be pale in winter, and deep golden tan in summer. I can wear bright gold when tan, but brass or vintage gold rest of the year. My best colors are dark autumn and some of dark winter. However, any yellows look bad, any icy colors or neons as well. I was always told I am soft/muted or true autumn but it just doesn’t look or feel right.

Finally! Someone who gets it! Yes, my olive skin is a chameleon. I’m soft summer in summer and as soon as i get a tan i become soft autumn. I have completely different colour palette clothes and makeup for winter and summer

Is there a way to be in between color seasons as a pale olive toned gal? AI has told me I’m a soft summer, but in person, straight silver and that palette gray me out horribly. Soft autumn looks much better on me in person but yellow gold can be harsh on me.

This explains why when I got my analysis done they kept going between dark winter and autumn. I do lean slightly warmer but dark winter still works well on me.

I’m olive toned and tanning is my WORST nightmare. Almost every shade of products I’ve tried is either too yellow or too pale. I’ve probably only found two foundations in my life that actually match. 😭
