@thriive.hc: Replying to @Victoria | Dietitian the point being that yes we ideally want to be able to implement regular exercise but if we are implementing too many steps at once we get overwhelmed and ultimately fail. My philosophy in health is to make things as simple and implementable as possible and the fact is that being told that you need to do multiple different things all at once is very overwhelming to people new to this space. Let people learn how to take things one step at a time so they can actually learn to do this long term without wanting to give up. ps I am absolutely not intending to drag this commenter, it was just the one that I clicked on out of multiple raising similar concerns from this point of misunderstanding 🫶 #nutrition #exercise #Fitness #motivation #health
I'm surprised at the confusion, you are so clear and accurate

I've changed the way I am eating and in the last 3 weeks I've lost 7kgs. No exercise. This number will decrease but it seems to be working. I will add some strength training in a few weeks or so. Thanks for this explanation!
