It’s about 19 miles total!The tunnel is a nice break in the middle of the bridge.If you are afraid of this bridge drive it at night when you can’t see the water.Nice relaxing ride when leaving Virginia Beach as you watch the seagulls early morning and day.That looks like a old video because there are two bridges now with traffic going in one direction on each bridge.First and second time across the bridge when it was two directions l was scared!Second time across by myself after crossing I got out of the car and prayed !😂😂😂😂

there is nothing bad about this bridge at all. I drove over the bay bridge for 14 years twice a day. out of all those years the bridge was only shut down one time for wind, never saw the fog that bad where you couldn't see, I was on the bridge at 4:30am for 5 days a week

it aint that bad 😭 as someone who has to drive it to see friends, when i had college, go to malls or events at the naval academy such as the blue angels, etc. you get used it after the 6th round trip lol
