@mistithorpe: I swear I’m not just being difficult 😅 If I can make a screenshot work, I absolutely will. But here’s the reality behind the scenes… Underwriting isn’t just looking for “proof” — they’re looking for verifiable, traceable documentation. Most screenshots: • don’t show your full name • don’t show the full account number • cut off the URL or institution name • don’t include all pages/details • can be edited (even unintentionally) And that last one is the big one… 👉 If it can’t be verified, it can’t be used. It’s not about trust — it’s about guidelines and fraud prevention. The underwriter has to be able to say, with confidence, “this document is complete and hasn’t been altered.” So when I ask for: ✔️ full statements ✔️ official PDFs ✔️ all pages (yes… even the blank ones 😭) …it’s not me being extra. It’s me making sure we don’t hit a last-minute condition that delays your closing 👀 ⸻ Translation: I’m not rejecting your screenshots… I’m protecting your approval 😌
