@sarahschulerr: Infertility stole years from me. 4.5 years for my first. A loss. More waiting. Another 4.5 years. And then our surprise third baby. My miracle girls. Absolutely worth the heartache and wait. But after all that I was still handing them off every morning. Missing drop offs. Pick-ups. Firsts. Guilt not being there when they were sick. Rushing through bedtimes. Just to pay for childcare. I thought I wanted to be a working mom. I was proud of my career. But once I finally had the family I prayed for. The job didn't matter like it used to. They did. And that's when I knew something had to change. So I stopped searching for balance. And started searching for freedom. Now I work 1-3 hours a day from home during nap time and between snacks. I get to do drop-off snuggles and attend all after school activities. I don't miss anything. And I make more than I ever did in scrubs. If you're where I was. Trying to figure out how to be present and provide. I'll share exactly how I was able to become a full time SAHM.
