can predict tracers movement after observing her for like 5 seconds and beats genji but somehow couldnt defeat vendetta even though shes weaker and slower, the overwatch writers have gotten sloppy

It really makes no sense for him to lose. There’s the argument of growing old, but even then, we know Talon was aware of Vendetta for a long time. Doomfist has always been portrayed as this brilliant strategist and manipulator since the beginning, with feats to show. Doing nothing against a growing threat makes no sense, not for him. I believe he lost on purpose for a greater goal, to strengthen Overwatch to ultimately pity it against Null Sector, as a way for Humanity to become stronger through conflict, once again
