Now tell us the ratio/ percentages when it comes to wealth.Nobody is saying the rich need to pay the taxes of this country, ppl are just saying they should pay their fair share. Fair means if they own most of the wealth then the need to cover most of the cost.

It matches the wealth distribution in the UK. If wealth was not this concentrated the taxes would be more even too. Most of the wealth is in the UK itself. You tax the wealth itself, not the owners. Then it doesn't matter where they live

T.B.C - VAT is slightly more than 60% of income tax, more of which comes from working and middle class earners than the top 10% - when this is added in, your argument falls apart.

your example is flawed. In most cases, to run your business that you got rich on and are getting rich on, you are using infrastructure created by tax dollars. most cases, you are likely using that infrastructure at a higher rate to make your money. let's just use roads as an example. the average person uses roads everyday. couple 100 miles a week. If you are a seller of items, the shipping of said materials or the receiving of raw materials uses that same infrastructure at a level infinitely higher than the average person. Even if you are a contractor by yourself, you're going to put maybe 10k to 15,000 mi a month compared to maybe 2k to 3k for the average person. your business is using public infrastructure at a higher rate than the public does. you should be paying higher taxes.
