Dude, one time I had Godsmack open for Metallica and I’m a massive Metallica fan. Godsmack absolutely fucking destroyed and when Metallica came out, people were heading for concessions. It was actually pretty wild and that’s why we were there. Nothing against Metallica just Godsmack blew it out of the fucking water. I love both bands. Don’t get me wrong by. Metallica was something very dear to me because of a dying parent, but it was hard. Definitely hard to ignore how incredible the other band was hard to follow sometimes don’t follow bands that literally can just fuck shit up.

In 2001 I saw Rammstein open up for System of a Down and Slipknot. I only remember Rammstein’s set. They were so damn loud, louder than any of the other bands. But also sounded so damn crisp and clean.
