This isnt even the opinion if Imam malik or imam shafi, their opinion was that a mans awrah is the thigh, shafi didnt even say it was the navel but what was below it til the knee. These opinions are VERY nieche minority opinions that came way later on

Modesty is a very beautiful aspect of the deen. I dont get why people dont have the urge to go beyond (like wearing more garment) unless they're in dire situations (restrictions and laws). May Allah ease it for us all
