regardless of the comment she made in the past, isn’t it equally as likely that she (or anyone else) has learnt from that mistake of body-shaming someone and now wants to actually compliment someone when they like what they’re wearing or say they looked good (which you did btw <3), irrespective of any size. why does complimenting someone outside of a ‘traditional beauty-standard’ have to be a pr endeavour? glad you had a fun and successful interview, and that you know your worth ❤️

I think her comment was 100% warranted, it's a spectacular dress on you, both the cut and color. The right balance of fun and professional too. People hate to see women hype each other up!

why was it peoples first thoughts anyway?! my first thoughts were: “this is a stunning dress!!!” and the fact that Emily didn’t HAVE to compliment the dress but very clearly wanted to and it came across so genuine to me - interviews can be terrifying so it’s so lovely of her to have broken the ice as well with such a sweet compliment 🥰🥰
