SPOILER** I was so excited for this because the idea of a trad wife going back to the 1800’s sounded so fun to read. Even if she had actually gone back to the 1800’s and the book ended differently, we barely got any of her in “that time period”. I was highly disappointed.

SPOILER: I wish she had actually been sent back to the 1800s and then got a choice to go back but realized she preferred her simple life. The ending disappointed me :(

I listened to the audio book and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was really well done and absolutely helped me get through the middle, which I agree dragged a bit, but Natalie’s interjections and snark kept me entertained. The end of the book had me on the edge of my seat, and the ending nearly had me in tears. I really think my fav part of the story was trying to figure out what the world around Natalie actually looked like through an unbiased lens and trying to decode her rants.
