I leased my Highlander. At the end of my lease I tried to finance the remainder balance but Toyota finance wanted 10% interest (with excellent credit). My credit union wanted 9% interest for a used car. So it was cheaper to buy a new car than refinance the balance of the lease. So I will never lease again!

This is exactly what I did. I knew I wanted to buy my Tacoma at the end of lease from the get-go. Except the biggest hack not said in this video, when lease is up and it’s time to buy… BUY DIRECTLY FROM TOYOTA- not the dealership. You pay the buy out amount without the extra fees that the dealership adds on 👏

It’s true lease payments are cheaper, but the insurance on a lease is way higher, so either way you are paying just about the same amount. I still want one tho lol trd offroad!

Financing a gently-used Toyota where someone else paid for the depreciation in value is probably the best move, in my opinion. Lease to buy is like being the first owner and becoming the second owner. As if you didn’t pay $300 a month for 3 years, and a $2000 down payment

I’m on my fifth lease. I haven’t found anything I wanted to buy out, but I just love the idea of getting a new car every three years and never dealing with anything maintenance wise. My next will be a Toyota forerunner or Highlander at the end of summer.

I drive a 2007 Toyota FJ cruiser, I paid it off 7 yrs ago, I’ve had it 12 years. Toyotas last. They’re the best.

This crazy how bunch of sales people are coming out saying is better leasing a car than buy it !! Dude I bought a 2012 Camry was pay off in 2017 , I have 98K miles that car is running great and I save over 9 years car payments, full cover insurance lol , if I would lease like this guy is saying I would still had car payments full cover insurance 🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽
