So without having seen the movie, I’m assuming she was convinced of someone’s innocence and then she realized that the typewriter she’s using, which the suspect also used, misprints the t and there was an incriminating note with a misprinted t?

I love how she was freshly plucked and happy when she found the truth. She needed that shock after the gullible way she fell for everything he said. Primal Fear is another good movie with a great twist.

this... seems familiar? like it doesn't look familiar, but the premise of a broken "t" specifically from a typewriter being a major reveal, does? I know this is a trope, but that letter is whats sending faint bells off, and I can't place it, but this doesn't look familiar at all 😵💫 any other movies or shows with pretty much this exact same premise?
