I do get the design route, because Season 2, barely anybody has a different set of clothes, e.g. Lucia, Yidhari, Yixuan all have a matching set, even though they are in separate groups. I myself believe the Sunbringer design change was due to her being too unique, because they do love reusing models, and there isn't one like hers, but they should've stayed the strict route, because even though they pushed hard with the fan service, it still backfires like season 2(they are trying it again it seems with the new characters in Season 3, because just like last season, they barely have any outfit diversity (only 2 people in season 2 have pants, the rest either has shorts, or a short skirt, with the exception of 2 Spook Shack members, and YSG)). The male character situation is valid, because it is the worst offender out of its sisters. The identity being gone is a bad argument, because it is broad, and they need new lenses on the different aspects of it
