😂😂😂 It’s possible to not like the taste of sweet coffee but like the taste of cake/pastries

That’s how I came to LOVE black coffee at 18. A fancy hotel breakfast, I ordered French toast with maple syrup and a coffee. In typical hotel fashion the coffee came black with milk and sugar on the side. But my toast was DRENCHED in syrup (it was amazing) but so sweeeet. So I decided to have a sip of just the plain black coffee to help balance it out. Literally felt like that one scene from Ratatouille. I have been drinking black coffee everyday since. With my oatmeal, with any pastry and now it genuinely became my fav refreshing beverage. Best combo 😩🫶

I don’t put sugar in my coffee to allow for all the sugar in my cake. Life’s about balance
