He 3d printed the middle part. Stopped the print, put the nut on, finished the 3d print. You can’t remove it unless you break it.

On the original puzzle the arrow is made of pine. You soak it in pine then put it in the vice until you smash the end down small enough for the bolt to travel over it. Must be Pine wood

I think the arrow splits lengthwise and can be reassemble looking like a solid unit.
