I'm about to be 47. Advice to young women: I spent so much time hating myself. I can't get it back. the older you get, the more you love yourself when you should have done it a long time ago. I was beautiful and so are you. your brain is lying to you. Ignore haters. Don't waste time worrying about what they think. they don't matter. Now when I look in the mirror, I wish that younger me was staring back. but it's too late. I wish I could go back and love myself more.

47...ladies...dump him...do the last minute trips with your friends...unless it's your forever career/job...working extra and skipping your PTO is NEVER worth it. Volunteer for the random event that has interesting people doing interesting things. Get involved with the local helpers and increase your happiness by leaps and bounds. Take the damn class for tap dance, flower arranging, improv, haiku writing. You don't have to do it for her or you can! Sit with your friend at 6am at the emergency vet. Meet your friends during a snowpocalypse (safely) for the ultimate day off. Never stop learning. Never stop being in awe. Never put anyone else first. Never forget to keep loving yourself. Wear sunscreen.
