I loved the new NARS soft matte foundation, but it oxidizes so orange. My skin complexion is like the actress Meagan Good with my undertone being golden and not warm. I just switch to the new double wear foundation. In the color Honey Bronze. I absolutely love it. When it oxidizes it actually oxidizes to my undertone. I’m an oily girl and did exactly this and the foundation looked great on my face. Also noticed you need a good foundation brush. Just need a nice setting powder to go along with the foundation. Any suggestions on a good matte setting powder?

This is the whole point. At this price we should not have to have several steps to apply it “correctly”. Why was it working all these years if it’s the application? It’s the formula. I get it’s an eu mandate , but it’s not a double wear anymore.

Oh Kevin nooo. The point is, its totally different and even with the hacks - still different. We don’t want a different formula for a different audience 😭 i have been testing 20 foundations to find the closest replacement to the old DW formula. For those of you who don’t like the new one, I hope my series helps you ❤️

the old formula was top tier. the new formula is terrible! I have dehydrated skin and the old one was never dry on me due ti my skin prep but ive tried the new one and im an oil slick within 3 hours!!I tried without all the prep and just my spf and STILL, it greased off my face 😭
