From her POV, she thinks she’s found this family with Rhys and the IC. Yet it is so painfully obvious to the reader that the whole IC serves Rhysand and would ultimately turn on Feyre if she ever tried to leave or betray Rhysand.

Nesta is the one. single. person. who would take Feyre's side if things went wrong with Rhys. Even discounting how much Nesta and Rhys don't get along, with the way Nesta protects the people she cares about, and the way she and Feyre have gotten better, and the way Nesta has literally reMade things to save Feyre - Nesta would be the key to Feyre getting out. Frankly I think she'd take Feyre's side even despite Cassian.

Watch the interview with sarah j maas. She has made clear they are a good fit and good couple. What exactly were you expecting cassian or azriel to do about the pregnancy? Were the wrong for not telling her? Yes i think so. Does that mean they chose rhys over her? Not at all. Elain knew too and said nothing. And she is her sister.

I agree with you 100%. In my opinion, they'll be Rhys's parents case. Maybe mating bonds start out passionate and fizzle out, just like real-life relationships. And if a relationship isn't built on a strong foundation, it stops working after the fizzle. Ferya and Rhys have nothing in common; he doesn't really know anything about her and doesn't want to. It's sad how romanticized this relationship is.
