@sarahpalmyra: Which sunscreen should I try next? Trying my sunscreen hack this time with the new @LaRochePosayUS anthelios uv air protection serum spf 50. This might be a contender for the best sunscreen I’ve tried with this method so far. #drugstoresunscreen #sunscreenhack #sunscreenovermakeup #larocheposay #sunscreen
I get it, but the sponge will also take product so bit confused on that part

1. Why are you applying it on top of makeup? 2. Why are you using a sponge?

Why are you so surprised? La Roche-Posay sunscreens are high-quality, top-tier pharmacy products. Just because they are available in drugstores, doesn’t make it a bad quality product.

I’m really hesitant to go back to American formulated sunscreen ever since I started using Korean and European formulas.

Doesn’t the sponge absorb a lot of the sunscreen?

But arent you blotting most of it off on the puff?

Can we stop calling things that cost $40 for LESS THAN what used to be the standard 1.7oz drugstore. 😭Forty is getting you into Sephora pricing (and yes I know low end of Sephora spectrum) but $39.99 isn’t “drugstore” 😳

Lab muffin beauty science has a YouTube video testing sunscreen sticks and sprays..she also talks about reapplying sunscreen over makeup and recommends a similar technique to yours, she recommends a specific sponge that doesn’t absorb as much product.

You keep loading that stuff on. I have always been a sunscreen gal and at 46 I’m seeing the rewards. It’s will do more for your skin than any fancy products

You said drugstore and I expected affordable lol. This sunscreen is $40 for 1.69 oz, which is comparable to Sephora. Why does it matter where it's sold if the expense is the same?🥴

You shouldn’t apply with a sponge. Only fingers. Any derm will tell you that. The purpose of a sponge is to soak up excess product.
