Even without buying an item there are plenty of characters that can just burn a 1-3 ability which by that point in the game will have such a low cooldown it doesn’t really matter. Haze sleep, Paige immobilize, talon and Celeste silence. Odds are you have someone on your team that can just focus the problem player with indomitable every 40-50 seconds

It’s not as insane as people make it seem but I always bought silence wave to counter dynamo pulling his team out of my lash ult. Now lash is EVEN WEAKER late game but I trust Valve knows what they’re doing better than I do.
