@w1tk_: Denji is the main protagonist of the anime and manga series Chainsaw Man, created by Tatsuki Fujimoto. At the start of the story, Denji is a poor, desperate teenager burdened by his deceased father’s debt to the yakuza. His only companion is a small devil named Pochita, who has the form of a chainsaw dog. After being betrayed and killed, Denji merges with Pochita and becomes the Chainsaw Man, gaining the ability to transform parts of his body—like his arms and head—into chainsaws. His abilities include: Transforming into a human-devil hybrid Extreme regeneration (by consuming blood) Enhanced strength, speed, and durability Unlike many typical heroes, Denji’s motivations are very simple and human—he wants food, comfort, and affection after a life of suffering. He later joins a government organization led by Makima, working as a devil hunter. Over time, Denji’s character develops from a survival-driven boy into someone struggling with identity, relationships, and what it really means to live a “normal” life—while constantly facing brutal and emotional challenges. Overall, Denji is a chaotic but deeply human protagonist, balancing dark violence with surprisingly relatable desires. #denji #denjichainsawman #chainsawman #comfortcharacters #fyp
